We started working together at Waterland Private Equity thirteen years ago.
Following Waterland, we pursued complementary careers at leading private equity firms, private equity backed companies and as entrepreneurs.
Together we were involved in 27 platform investments and over 50 add-on acquisitions.
Bart Odink
Managing Partner

Bart’s career spans over 15 years of experience in M&A and Private Equity. From 2010 to 2018, Bart was Head of M&A at Intertrust and part of the team that led the company from carve-out to IPO, significantly increasing its size and valuation.
Before co-founding Create Capital, Bart briefly worked as Investment Director at Bridgepoint in Amsterdam. Prior to Intertrust, Bart worked at Waterland Private Equity, where he was involved in various investments and exits in a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, professional services and technology.
Bart has lived in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Germany. He is married and has three children.
Bart holds an MSc in Economics (cum laude) from the University of Amsterdam.
Mathieu Zwinkels

Over the past 14 years Mathieu has been active in private equity and as entrepreneur, where he has been instrumental in building and expanding successful (inter)national businesses in various industries.
Prior to co-founding Create Capital he was partner at Gate Invest and has worked for Mentha Capital and Waterland Private Equity. Mathieu also founded two disruptive startups, in fitness and online insurance, both of which were sold to investors.
He has lived in the Netherlands, Canada, Poland and India and currently resides in Amsterdam with his wife and son.
Mathieu holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Amsterdam, a BBA from the University of Windsor and completed the MA Program at INSEAD.
Kasper van Griensven
Senior Adviser
Kasper is an experienced investment banker with extensive experience managing complex M&A, financing, equity and debt capital markets transactions. He combines a commercial, can-do attitude with strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach.
Kasper loves with working with entrepreneurs to help them build better and bigger businesses and over the years has supported many of them with acquisitions, capital raises and exits.
For a significant part of his career Kasper lived and worked in Hong Kong covering clients across Asia, as well as in London working with European clients. He has been back in the Netherlands since 2008 with a focus on the Benelux region. Kasper is married and has three sons.
Kasper holds an MSc in Econometrics & Operations Research from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
